JULY 2018 FLYING STAR & ELEMENTAL FORECAST
JULY 2018 is a Yin Earth on Earth Goat month and begins on the 7th @ 11:43 am.
The month brings about another month of strong earth energy as July is a total Earth month which supports the years strong Earth energy. Therefore, there will be more issues related to the earth earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, avalanches, fire disasters, explosions, etc. As the Earth Goat is the end of Fire season and on a global level we will witness underground explosions and eruptions.
The Earth Goat brings about a half Earth penalty for the year, where the Ox, Goat and Dog make up an Earth Penalty therefore, take extra care if you have any or all these animals in your Destiny Chart especially if earth is your unfavourable element. Health wise Yin Earth represents the spleen and belly and the Earth Goat is the stomach and back. Therefore, extra care should be placed on these areas of your body.
On a health aspect, fire makes the earth energy stronger. Carrie from Healing Pond Chinese Medicine Health Centre in Box Hill, Melbourne has provided a basic outline concerning health issues for this month.
As we approach into winter in the Southern Hemisphere, the weather gets dramatically colder. People will spend more time indoor under the heater environment and eat higher calorie food e.g.: deep fried, roasted and BBQ food.
From a Chinese Medicine perspective, all deep fried / roasted /BBQ food contain FIRE/HEAT from the cooking process. Since this month is a strong FIRE Earth month (corresponding organ to Earth in Chinese Medicine is digestive system), the Fire/Heat from food will further damage the fluid/yin in the body, causing thirsty sense, dry skin/lips, cold sore/mouth ulcer, stomach pain, reflux, indigestion, constipation, or diarrhea etc.
To improve the digestive symptoms above, we need to manage our diet by avoiding too much deep fried/roasted/BBQ food; cooking more soup e.g. pumpkin soup, ox tail soup etc. according to your body constitution; drinking more warm water to hydrate the body. FIRE– Yes! you have the Midas touch this month as the year also brings this about as well, enjoy your success and keep shining – very busy and productive month …… If earth is unfavourable, be aware of what you say and do- avoid starting new projects.
EARTH– A time for socialising with friends, family, and colleagues ………. If Earth is unfavourable family, friends, colleagues, and competitors can be a burden- they will drain you, so don’t be afraid to say NO.
METAL– a great time to start a new course or learn something new, (come learn Chinese Astrology with me new classes start July 18th 😊) ……. if earth is unfavourable, the focus is your health, so take extra care and keep on top of it- watch your digestive health as well.
WATER– the month will bring about a promotion, recognition from teachers and pressure. ……if earth is unfavourable- be aware of legal issues (speeding fines, late payments, etc) , authority issues and this can come from parents as well as bosses and teachers.
