OCTOBER 2024, FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST
Welcome to the energy of October beginning on 8th October at 3:03 am until 7th November 6:22 am.
October is here, and we’re in for significant shifts! This month’s energy is Yang Wood on an Earth Dog, in a Yang Wood Earth Dragon year starting on a Yin Wood Fire Snake day and Yang Earth on Wood Tiger hour. With the wood elements dominating the heavenly stems for the month, we shall see heightened competition, particularly among Heads of State.
This month may also offer a glimpse into 2025’s energy, as the month begins on a Yin Wood Snake day—reflecting the energy of next year. November, a Pig month, clashes with the Snake of 2025, triggering next year’s energy forward.
The ruling Flying Star this month is Star 6 (metal), representing law, governments, the military, CEOs and father figures. It governs the central energy and attacks the yearly Star #3 (wood), which signifies arguments, slander, and lawsuits. This tension could signal legal issues involving governments and military forces. With U.S. elections around the corner, we might even see military involvement due to potential electoral uncertainty. Let’s pray it doesn’t not turn into unrest.
October’s Dog Month clashes with the Dragon Year creating a stirring movement, turbulence, accidents and significant global changes. This kind of clash often leads to natural volatility, major earthquakes and landslides, just like the recent floodings of Hurricane Helena impacting countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and the south-eastern USA, and the floods in Central and Eastern Europe triggering a state of emergency throughout these countries.
Don’t be discouraged by the clash—it forces you out of your comfort zone and can lead to some of the best decisions you’ve made in a long time. You’ll feel these changes if you have a Dog in your chart. My advice: take control and initiate the changes, whether in your career, home, relationships, travel, or overall well-being. Resisting these shifts could make things more challenging as they will be made for you not by you.
Also, there is no Nobleman (helpful people) this month (similar to April – Dragon month) and we need to rely on the days and even the hours for our nobleman to appear. These two months are known as the ‘Gate to Heaven & Hell’ or the ‘Twilight Zone’, which can cause accidents or casualties.
Those with a Dragon or a Dog in their chart often possess a sixth sense, heightened intuition or psychic abilities. Some iconic figures like Steve Jobs, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Pele and Uma Thurman all share this extraordinary vision.
October’s energy is an ideal time to pause, meditate, and tune into your intuition, as it will be amplified. Take time to unplug, walk in nature, and find quiet moments for reflection.
Clash Animal
The Dog & Dragon are a Clash in Chinese Astrology. If you have a Dragon in your chart then you are in Clash with the month, it can fall in the:
– Day you are born,
-Month (5/6 April to 5/6 May).
– Hour (between 7am- 9am) and,
– Years (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024).
It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Rooster as it is friends with the Dragon in Chinese Astrology.
If you have Yang Metal in your Chinese Astrology Chart, you are in Clash with the Yang Wood of this month. This is especially significant if you were born on a Yang Metal day. Depending on whether Yang Wood is favourable or not, this Clash can be positive, activating aspects associated with the element. For a deeper understanding, consider booking a Chinese Astrology reading.
Penalty Animals
An Earth Penalty can instigate extreme worry, hidden dangers, accidents, diseases, misfortune, sporting accidents especially those played on the earth, growths, and hidden cancer.
If you have a Goat & Ox in your Chinese Astrology Chart, then this month the Dog brings about and Earth Penalty.
If Earth is an unfavourable element, then avoid extreme sports, and take extra on the roads.
Carry the Charm of the Rabbit to keep the Dog peaceful.
Combinations with the Dog
The Dog & Rabbit are best of friends in Chinese Astrology, therefore, anticipate a smoother month, especially if it’s on the Day you are born.
The Dog combines with the Tiger and the Horse forming a Fire Element Trine combination- what does Fire represent in your chart? Is it money, intelligence, resources, power, or self?
(A Chinese Astrology reading can give you more information. See below for services)
Yang Wood and Yin Earth combine with one another to generate more Earth.
They have a bond with one another that symbolises unity, partnership and can instigate a relationship. They can also be unavailable to each other in certain circumstance.
Flying Stars October 2024
Centre: The monthly Star #6 (Metal) governs law, governments, military, CEOs, and the father figure. It clashes with the yearly Star #3, associated with arguments, slander, and lawsuits. This could indicate that heads of state, governments, and military leaders will be involved in major lawsuits and conflicts. With the U.S. elections approaching, military involvement may arise due to unresolved electoral outcomes.
West: The monthly Star #8 (Earth) meets the yearly Star #5 (Earth), regarded as the most malevolent energy. With Star 8 reinforcing Star 5, this combination can trigger unrest in the western areas of the world, country, or state. Use metal objects like a metal bowl, statue, or weights to calm this energy.
Northeast: The monthly Star #9 (Fire) brings prosperity and abundance, enhancing the positive energy in this sector.
North: Star #2 -The energies here represent ill-health and fertility concerns. Placing six coins in this area is recommended to weaken the negative energy. Focus on strengthening your health this month, especially your immune system with antioxidants.
Southeast: The monthly Star #5 intensifies the yearly Star #2, both representing obstacles, difficulties, and destructive energy. To disperse this negativity, use six metal bells or a six-metal-piped wind chime. Alternatively, a saltwater cure can help neutralize the challenging energy in this sector. Respect this sector by keeping it quite and undisturbed.
Northwest: The monthly Star #7 (Metal) is associated with female energy, robbery, theft, betrayal, and scandal, and it combines with the yearly Star #4, which brings arguments, scandals, romance, and lawsuits. Together, they heighten conflict in this direction, particularly in the Qian (NW) Palace.
Southwest: The monthly Star #3 (Wood) strengthens the yearly Star #9 (Fire), which can lead to significant achievements. However, this combination may also bring gossip, arguments, robbery, or lawsuits.
East: The monthly Star #1 (Water) brings prosperity and promotions, and when combined with the yearly Star #7 (Metal), its strength increases, boosting opportunities in this sector.
On a global scale, countries or regions in the West, Southeast, Centre, and North may experience unrest or natural disasters. Extra caution is advised if these energies fall into key areas of your home, such as the bedroom, front door, or kitchen. Avoid disturbing the land through digging or renovations in these sectors this month, as it could lead to financial loss or misfortune.
