September 2023, Feng Shui Flying Stars & Chinese Astrology Forecast:
Welcome to September’s Romance Flower month of Yin Metal on the Metal Rooster. The month begins on 8th September @ 5:28am until 8th October @ 9:17pm.
Yin Metal is like a fine piece a jewellery, a dagger or a needle. This yin metal month will be more piercing than last month. If you have ever had an acupuncture treatment you would have experienced the effects of the piercing needle getting to the root of the problem to open/release the blocked or stagnant Qi.
This is the month where the energies are not in harmony with the year as the Rabbit and the Rooster are foes and cause what is known in Chinese Astrology as a Clash.
Clashes create changes or wake-up calls. Clashes can be similar to a kick in the backside as it pushes you to change the way you do things. It can be a testing or trying time as well as revealing or causing discomfort and fear, as it takes us out of our comfort zone. Nothing can hide in a clash as things open up and are exposed.
The Rooster and the Rabbit are both Romance Flowers and as they are in clash, meaning, affairs of the heart & mind shall create a very emotional and bumpy ride this month. It’s also a good month to let go of relationships that no longer work or have run their course. Being on a personal or work related level. When a relationship or friendship ends, it opens up space for a new one to enter. Remember, love & kindness is the key as we all face difficult situations from time to time.
The clash month will also bring things to the surface. Truths which have been hidden even on a global scale & especially to do with governments. The Star #2 representing ill-health flies into the Northwest palace, the original home of the Star #6 representing the Father trigram, governments, politics, law, military & authority. This year the malevolent Star #5 is also occupying the Northwest palace. When we have 2 challenging stars visiting, we may hear of prominent global leaders falling sick or having to step down because of health issues, major changes to governments, laws & politics.
The Star #1 representing the middle aged son and water, rules the central palace which teams up with the yearly Star #4 representing the wind trigram and the eldest daughter. This month the focus is on natural disasters caused by strong winds and water – floods, hurricanes and our seas. Both Stars relate to academia (Star 1) and literature (Star 4), we may hear of problems within the education system or success to do with mature women and middle aged men taking on higher powered roles. Both stars also have to do with affairs, meaning scandals may rule the headlines this month as well. There is always the Yin and Yang side of the month.

Nobleman is described as ‘helpful people’. This month the Rooster brings a Nobleman to people born
- Day of Yang Fire & Yin Fire.
- Years ending in a 6 & 7.
Romance Flower or Peach Blossom –
Romance Flower indicates a relationship, you may attract extra attention and standing out this month.
If you are born in the Year or Day of a Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, the Rooster is your Romance Flower or Peach Blossom.
Monkey Years include 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016 .
Rat Years include 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008,2020..
Dragon Years include1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012.
Clash Animal
The Rooster & Rabbit are a Clash in Chinese Astrology. If you have a Rabbit in your chart then you are in Clash with the month, it can fall in the:
– Day you are born,
-Month (March 4/5 to 5/6 April)
– Hour (between 5am- 7am) and,
– Years (1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023).
It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Dragon as it is friends with the Rooster in Chinese Astrology.
If you have Yin Wood, in your Chinese Astrology Chart, you are in Clash with the Yin Metal of the Month. It is more evident if you are born on the Day of Yin Wood.

Self-Penalty –
The Rooster month brings about a Self-Penalty for those that have another Rooster in their Chinese Astrology Chart.
A Self Penalty is something you impose on yourself- like overindulging, worry, self-sabotage, addictions, negative talk, and compulsive behaviour.
Combinations with the Rooster-
The Rooster & Dragon are best of friends in Chinese Astrology, therefore, anticipate a smoother month, especially if it’s on the Day you are born.

FLYING STARS SEPTEMBER 2023
NORTHWEST-representing ill- health & fertility- 6 coins are recommended as a cure for this direction. Take care of your health this month and build up your immune system with antioxidants. Keep the centre of your home quiet.
SOUTH-represents difficulty, obstacles & destructive energy- 6 metal bells or a 6-metal piped wind chime is recommended to disperse negative energy.
SOUTHWEST– The Star #7 (Metal) is associated with financial loss, robbery, theft, betrayal, violence.
WEST- The Star #3 is related to conflict, fighting, & robbery , avoid any serious conversations in the west sector this month.
