AUGUST 2021 FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST

August 7th, 2021, marks the mid-year in the Solar calendar. We are officially halfway through the Metal OX year in Chinese Metaphysics.

August is also Yang Fire on a Metal Monkey, therefore another month of unrest. In the Controlling Cycle of the 5 Elements, Fire controls the Metal.

The Metal Monkey is also the beginning of Autumn season in the Solar calendar. Autumn season is a time to let go of what does not serve you. This can be letting go of old habits, resistance to change, fear, relationships, weight, ego, and worries, things that are out of your control, negative thoughts, guilt, and clutter.

This would be very prominent for those who live in the Northern Hemisphere, as they enter their Autumn season. Needless to say, it serves both hemispheres,

The Monkey is also a Travel Star, but as travel is restrictive globally people may seem more restless. If you are restricted to your own state or country, go, and discover the beauty your it has to offer, may it be a winery, country town, or a sightseeing down the beach road. I’m sure the locals would appreciate your business and welcome you to their town.

Yang Fire is like the sun, vibrant, charismatic, generous, easy to be friends, desires contact, and yet tend to carry a lot on their shoulders.

Metal Monkey is clever, active, thrives on having fun, trustworthy, problem solvers, and heartbreakers.

Nobleman Month-

Nobleman is described as ‘helpful people’. This month brings a Nobleman to people born;

  • On the Day of Yin Wood, & Yin Earth.
  • Years ending 5 & 9

Travel Star or Travelling Horse-

Travel Star indicates a lot of activity, travelling, car travel, etc.

If you are born in the Year or Day of a Tiger, Horse & Dog, the Monkey is your Travel Star.

Clash Animal

If you have a Tiger in your Chinese Astrology chart, it can fall in the:

– Day you are born,

-Month (February 4 to March 4/5)

– Hour (between 3am- 5am) and,

– Years (1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010).

It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Snake as it is friends with the Monkey in Chinese Astrology.

Fire Penalty

A Fire Penalty is created when the Monkey combines with Tiger & Snake in your Chinese Astrology Chart.

Fire penalties can bring about health issues concerning the heart, blood circulation, blood clots, anxiety, eyes, small intestine, and the spirit.

Also,

What does Fire represent in your chart? Is it your money, power, recourses, intelligence, or the self-element?

Combinations with the Monkey –

The Monkey and the Snake are best of friends in Chinese Astrology, therefore, anticipate a smoother month, especially if it’s on the Day you are born.

The Monkey combines with the Rat and the Dragon forming a Water Element Trine combination- what does Water represent in your chart? Is it money, intelligence, resources, power, or self?

In your Chinese Astrology chart, who is this harmony with?   – Day is your partner, Month is your parents & career, Year is your social group and networks, Hour is children and your ideas.

August is Yang Fire on a Metal Monkey. Yang Fire is the shoulders and small intestines. Metal Monkey is the colon and the lungs. Again, we have elements in conflict with one another.

As we might be aware of, the lingering virus Covid-19 has been re-flaring up in Australia for a while. Lung and Colon are sister organs in Chinese Medicine. If the Lung is affected by external pathogens, the colon would suffer as well presenting with symptoms like constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain/bloating etc. Also, since people work/study from home, the neck and shoulder issue are very common complaints in the clinic. Small intestine channel run through our neck and shoulder area, if we keep in the bad posture for a long time without movement, the Qi and blood would stagnant and cause stiffness and pain.

In order to keep your health this month, please have warm and healthy diet, regular exercise especially for your neck and shoulder. Neck and shoulder Guasha and cupping each week is beneficial for both the local circulation and Lung health.

The sectors that need to be looked after are:

NORTHEAST –representing ill- health & fertility- 6 coins are recommended as a cure for this direction,  and the

SOUTHWEST –represents difficulty, obstacles & destructive energy- 6 metal bells or a 6-metal piped wind chime is recommended to disperse negative energy.

On a global scale the countries that lie in the NORTHEAST & SOUTHWEST of a country/state can anticipate natural & climatic disasters.

Take extra care if these energies fall into your bedroom, front door, or kitchen.
