Oh boy, isn’t the year going so quickly! As we enter June, we’re stepping into another month influenced by the Fire element. However, this time, the Heavenly Stem is Yang Metal, representing government, military, authority, and law. According to the cycle of the Five Elements, Fire controls or governs Metal, suggesting that governments might be under significant pressure this month.
The Fire Horse, symbolizing a Romance Flower, hints at affairs of the heart or scandals within governments. The month begins on a Yang Metal day, indicating competition, and this competitor is paired with a Water Rat, the foe (clash) of the Fire Horse. This combination suggests the potential for two government bodies to be embroiled in scandal, possibly exposing each other.
Yang Metal clashes with the Yang Wood of the year, representing the money element, but also symbolizing a woman to a Yang Metal male Day Master. This clash suggests that the scandals could involve finances, sex scandals, laundering, or the misuse of government funds. The exposure of such scandals seems likely, as Yang Wood, the money element, is present in the Heavenly Stems.
The Flying Stars for the month we see the Star #1 (Water) ruling the central energies this month, strengthening the yearly central Star #3 (Wood). While Water supports Wood in the Five Elements cycle, indicating a theoretically harmonious outcome, the fact that both stars are Yang may lead to unreasonable or aggressive behaviour and heated arguments. This influence could manifest in homes, workplaces, at the centre of the globe, and headlining world news.
The presence of Star #1 (Water) also brings the possibility of natural disasters involving floods, landslides, water contamination, or avalanches. These protests could be fuelled by anger, resentment, frustration, irritability, bitterness, and impulsive actions, as indicated by the emotional attributes of the Wood (liver) element. However, Wood (liver) also represents kindness and constructiveness, offering a glimmer of hope for peaceful and constructive demonstrations.
This month is characterized by very strong Yang energy, from the day the month begins to the ruling central stars. To balance this intense energy, it’s essential to incorporate Yin activities such as meditation, prayer, breathwork, stillness, yoga, qigong, tai chi, and above all, love.
