AUGUST 2020 FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST
AUGUST 2020 is Yang Wood on Metal Monkey month and begins on the 7th at 12:09 am
In the Solar calendar or the Hsia Calendar August month marks the mid-year not June, therefore we are halfway through the Yang Metal Rat year ….and what a year it has been thus far.
We also enter another month where the elements are opposed to each other, as the Metal element chops down the Wood Element, therefore causing unrest.
The Yang Wood month is also in clash with the Yang Metal year, therefore there will be outburst of anger and frustration on a global level.
The Monkey in the month combines with the Rat in the year and creates half Water Tri Combine (Monkey, Rat, Dragon), therefore creating more water in the year ( floods, erosions, tsunamis, landslides, sink holes , cyclones)
The Monkey is also where the Water element is birthed; Water representing, intuition, communication, fear, trust, and emotions. This can also mean people are seeking answers as the trust in the government is weakening.
The Metal is about letting go and discarding, letting go of what was and the Wood is about planting that seed and waiting for it to germinate. This seed is quite weak and can take longer to germinate than expected.
Accept what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be.
Yang Wood is like an Oak tree, mature, sturdy, tough, principled, aspiring, creative, visionary, and inflexible.
The Metal Monkey is clever, active, thrives on having fun, quick witted, a great listener, can keep secrets, have an excellent memory, are multi-talented, and are great at problem solving, self-confident, and heart breakers.
The Monkey is also a Travel star, but as travel is restricted this year and Covid-19 restrictions are in place, people will feel restless this month. Try and focus your attention on reflecting within and letting go of what you have lost and start planning on what you can do differently to adapt to current situations.
If you are feeling overwhelmed use some Breathing techniques, meditate, and practice yoga to calm the body and nervous system.
In the month of AUGUST, you have a Nobleman (helpful people)

Then this month brings about a Fire Penalty – the Monkey ,Snake & Tiger form an Fire Penalty which can be related to health issues concerning blood circulation, the heart, eyes clarity, shoulder pain, blood pressure or coronary artery disease are connected to the fire element, as is anxiety and insomnia.

Health blog from TCM aspects for the month of AUGUST
August is Yang Wood on a Metal Monkey.
Yang Wood is the gall bladder and the Head. Metal monkey is the colon and the lungs. The elements are in clash as the metal controls the wood.
As the Covid-19 still spreading in Australia, people are quite aware of how to maintain the lung health by eating well, adequate sleep and regular exercise. Since the metal is controlling the wood, we need to pay more attention to the wood/gallbladder health this month.
In Chinese medicine, Gall bladder (GB) is the sister organ of Liver and helps the Liver to regulate the emotions. The GB channel runs on the side of the head, body and leg then ends at the 4th toe. When the GB is imbalance, people would suffer from mood swings, bitter/bile taste, restless sleep, nausea/vomit, or even jaundice. When the GB channel has blockage, people would suffer from migraine, sciatica pain/numbness. In order to maintain the health of GB, we could do 3-5 minutes of patting/cupping on both lateral sides of the legs every day, this could help the free flow of GB energy and is good for lower back pain, sciatica pain and numbness. Fennel or mint tea are good for the flow of GB energy as well. If you are suffering mood imbalance or poor sleep, drink 2-3 cups of the tea mentioned above or consult your health providers. Also avoid too much oily/deep fry food which give stress to the GB system.
