Part 1 : 4th of July

Independence Day is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence from the monarch of Britain, King George III,  which was ratified by the Founding Father delegates of the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.

The 4th of July 1776 was the year of Yang Fire Monkey, Month of Yang Wood Horse, and Day of Yin Earth Ox. In Chinese Astrology the day you are born, your birthday, is your blueprint in life, it’s the inbred qualities of a person. In the same manner the announcement of Independence Day is the birthday of America. With this analogy in place, I will analyse my interpretation of current events in the USA.

If we look at the day pillar of the 4th of July 1776, it is Yin Earth on an Ox. The year is  Yang Fire which supports or gives birth to the Earth in the Cycle of the 5 elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water). Fire is also knowns as the Resource element to Earth in Chinese Astrology. The Metal Monkey in the year is the Output or Intelligence element to the Day Pillar and a Travel Star, therefore declaring the 4th of July as Independence Day is quite fitting as  Britain was the Resource or Support element which  is on a Travel Star (Monkey), hence America becomes independent from Britain to become its own nation.

This year 2022 is Yang Water on a Tiger which is in direct clash with Yang Fire on a Monkey as Yang Water Clashes with Yang Fire and the Wood Tiger Clashes with the Metal Monkey in Chinese Astrology.

We can say that the year brings about changes to the USA,  as it’s  Support system ( Fire)  and its Intelligence or Output aspect are in direct clash with the year, hence the current Law changes taking place. Especially concerning  women’s abortion rights.

The Resource Element also known as the mother aspect; in this case the Fire is the mother to Earth ( the day of 4th of July 1776) . So, we can say that the support system or the mother is in clash in the USA this year, which can bring changes to women’s rights as well.

If we look back in history to the Yang Water Tiger Years since 1776, we will see the female movements and events that occurred in the USA in those years.

  • March 31, 1776 – Abigail Adams writes to her husband John Adams, urging him to “Remember the Ladies” in the new Code of Laws.
  • 1782- Deborah Sampson disguises herself as a male soldier and enlists in the 4th Massachusetts Regiment to fight with the Continental Army. Sampson takes the name Robert Shurtliff and fights for two years. Although her identity is eventually discovered, she receives an honorary discharge. Sampson returns home and marries Benjamin Gannett in 1785.That same day, the Second Continental Congress votes to break all political ties with Great Britain.
  • 1842- New Hampshire: Married women allowed to own and manage property in their own name during the incapacity of their spouse.
  • 1902: Women from 10 nations meet in Washington, D.C. to plan an international effort for suffrage.
  • 1962- Sherri Finkbine travelled to Sweden for an abortion after learning that Thalidomide, a tranquilizer drug she had taken, caused extensive deformities to the fetus.
  • 2022- The Supreme Court of the United States reversed its landmark ruling protecting abortion in Roe v. Wade.

There has always been a movement for women’s rights on a global scale and even today there are women that are still fighting for their right of freedom and equality.

I mentioned in this year’s  online zoom talk of the Chinese Year of the Tiger 2022, that there will be changes in American’s resources , this can also mean ideas, supply, education, values, laws, etc.

In Chinese Metaphysics, your  destiny alone does not determine life’s journey. There is the 33% Rule which is determined by three factors, which are referred to as Heaven Luck, Earth Luck and Man Luck.

  • Heaven Luck – It refers to a person’s destiny analysis ( Chinese Astrology or Bazi) . It determines your personal life traits.
  • Earth Luck – It refers to your personal Feng Shui. It’s the place you live in and how the energies of that environment influence your life. This can be the physical environment what we can see, and the energy distribution of your building or home the unseen energies.
  • Man Luck – Man Luck refers to your actions, choices, decisions, specifically conscious actions. These are the things that you choose to Do or NOT Do which only you can control.
