FEBRUARY 2022, FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST

Welcome to the Water Tiger month but also the Water Tiger Year 2022.

The month began on 4th February, 2022 @ 4:52am and ends on 5th March, @ 10:45pm.

Apologies for the delay in posting, but it’s been a busy time for me so thank you for your patience.

Yes, the month is doubling up its energy and sharing it with the yearly energy. If you missed my yearly newsletter please go to www.design2fenghsui.com.au/blog and enjoy the read.

Yang Water is determined, powerful, has wisdom, it will go where it wants to go, impulsive, driven, ruthless, good leaders, persuasive and intuitive. They are like the ocean, when they are clam, they are soothing, when they are angry they are like a tsunami.

The Wood Tiger is charming, ambitious, authoritative, stubborn, moody, and courageous. They enjoy their quiet time, but once disturbed, well let’s just say, you don’t want to face them in their natural environment. Keep in mind the Tiger is part of the cat family, and it all depends on their environment and how they react.

Are you feeling restless and need to travel? That’s because the Tiger is also a Travel Star in Chinese Astrology. Last time we encountered a Travel Star was in 2019, Yin Earth Pig Year.  Ironically it was also the last time we travelled globally before the Metal and Water (Rat) year 2020 and Metal Earth 2021 (Ox – Wet Earth) which are internal elements, which also bought on the global pandemic of viruses, therefore, making us go internally in every sense of the way.

The Tiger has arrived which is an element of growth, and expansion. Just like a seed pushes through that soil to reach its height with the help of the sun and the nourishment of the water, people are ready to grow to reach new goals, but also to move freely just like the tree that dancers in the wind. Elementally the wood enjoys the outdoors, therefore this month but also this year, we will see more restrictions lifted and the hope of travel especially in the second half of the year when the wood element is in its prime time.

A fun fact about the tigers is that they are good swimmers. Unlike most members of the cat family, they like water and often cool off in pools and streams.

With the help of the tiger’s energy of courage, stubbornness, and determination we will get through the month, and also the year.

Nobleman Month-

Nobleman is described as ‘helpful people’. This month brings a Nobleman to people born

  • Day of Yin Metal
  • Years ending in 1.

Travel Star or Travelling Horse-

Travel Star indicates a lot of activity, travelling, car travel, etc.

If you are born in the Year or Day of a Monkey, Rat, Dragon, the Tiger is your Travel Star.

Monkey Years include 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016.

Rat Years include 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 and 2020..

Dragon Years include 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012.

Clash Animal

If you have a Monkey in your Chinese Astrology chart, it can fall in the:

– Day you are born,

-Month (August 7/8 to September 7/ 8)

– Hour (between 3 pm- 5 pm) and,

– Years (1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016).

It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a PIG as it is friends with the Tiger in Chinese Astrology.

Penalty Animal

A Fire Penalty can instigate accidents, legal issues, extreme worry, blood circulation, eye & heart health, diabetes, anxiety, fevers, virus and even cancer.

If you have a Snake & Monkey in your Chinese Astrology Chart, then this month brings about and Fire Penalty.

If fire is an unfavourable element, then avoid extreme sports, and take extra on the roads.

Carry the Charm of the Pig to keep the tiger friendly.

Combinations with the Tiger-

The Tiger & Pig are best of friends in Chinese Astrology, therefore, anticipate a smoother month, especially if it’s on the Day you are born.

The Tiger combines with the Horse and the Dog forming a Fire Element Trine combination- what does Fire represent in your chart? Is it money, intelligence, resources, power, or self?

Health blog from a TCM aspect for The Water Tiger Year & February 2022

Dr. Kaiyan (Carrie) Li, is fourth generation acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine doctor originally from Guangzhou, China. Specialising in Respiratory Medicine, Chronic Disease Management, women’s and Paediatric Health and Fertility Support. Dr. Kaiyan is also the founder of Healing Pond Centre in Box Hill, Melbourne, Australia, and has shared some health tips in support of the yearly and monthly elements of the Water Tiger 2022.

There is Strong Wood element on the day the Tiger Year begins, but also the month of February, as it replicates the year, therefore a lot of Wood issues this year.

In Chinese Medicine, the Wood organs are Liver and Gallbladder (GB). Liver in charge of spreading the Qi & Blood all over the body and is related to the emotion of Anger.  GB in charge of the bile secretion and storage.

If the Liver & GB are under stress, people would experience the symptoms as below:

  • Depression and agitation/angry.
  • Distending pain along the LV channel (groin/sides of lower abdomen, breast, ribs, throat, temple headache).
  • Lumps in the neck, throat, breast, uterus.
  • Irregular period, period pain and fertility issues.
  • Digestive issues (bitter taste, reflux, IBS)
  • Yellow urination, jaundice.

To keep your Wood happy this year, please ensure you follow some of the tips as below:

  • Drink plenty water, eat sour food/drink e.g.: apple cider vinegar, lemon water
  • Eat more green leafy vegetable.
  • Destress the wood regularly (Gua sha, cupping, pressure points and acupuncture to unblock the channel).
  • Sooth the emotion (talk to friends or family, or professionals like psychologist).
  • Herbal medicine like “happy pills”, (Contact Dr. Kaiyan for more information)
  • Flower tea e.g.: Rose, Jasmine, Chrysanthemum flower with Mint and Goji Berries.
  • Enough Sleep (must be asleep between 11pm-3am).
  • Avoid hot and spicy food.

Since the Wood is so strong, it would create some Fire issues. The corresponding Fire organ in Chinese Medicine is Heart and Small Intestine (SI). Heart in charge of blood and house the spirit. If the Heart fire is too strong, people would suffer from the symptoms as below:

  • Frustration, anxiety.
  • Insomnia, vivid dreams, Heart palpitations.
  • Night sweat, especially on the chest and armpit.
  • Thirsty, scanty, and yellow burning urination.
  • Tongue tip ulcer.

To keep your Heart health this year, some tips are shown below:

  • Eat bitter and cooling food like bitter melon, celery to clear heart fire
  • Foods like pear, mulberry, lily pad, dandelion, honeysuckle flower, snow fungus and pear soup are also good to cool heart heat.
  • Meditation and listening to some water feature music.

Also, there’s no Metal this year which means the Lung energy is still not strong enough to defeat this ongoing virus. the symptoms of weak Lung include:

  • Fatigue, tiredness,
  • Shortness of breath, cough, weak voice.
  • Easily get sick, chronic cough, asthma, eczema, hay fever
  • Pale complexion, spontaneous sweating etc.

To increase the Lung/Defensive energy, some tips are listed below:

  • Regular Cupping and Guasha on the back to strengthen the defensive energy and expel some external pathogen.
  • Regular outdoor (sun exposure) exercises to strengthen the lung energy and increase Vit D level.
  • Ginseng tea and Astragalus tea is good to build up the lung qi.
  • If there is lingering mucus, have some dry Mandarin skin tea.
  • Avoid too much cold and sweet foods, dairy, and gluten.

FLYING STARS FEBRUARY 2022

The sectors that need to be looked after are:

Centre –representing ill- health & fertility- 6 coins are recommended as a cure for this direction,

and the

Northeast –represents difficulty, obstacles & destructive energy- 6 metal bells or a 6-metal piped wind chime is recommended to disperse negative energy.

On a global scale the countries that lie in the Centre & Northeast of a country/state can anticipate natural & climatic disasters.

AOVID disturbing the land, digging, and renovations in these sectors for the month as it can lead to money loss, and misfortune.

Take extra care if these energies fall into your bedroom, front door, or kitchen.

This month in the centre of everyone’s home and businesses there are 2 challenging Stars, the Yearly Star 5 representing misfortune and the monthly Star 2 representing Ill- Health. Respect this sector and avoid any disturbances of loud music or arguments taking place in the centre of your dwelling. We also take into consideration the original unseen energy of a dwelling.
