September 2019 FLYING STAR & ELEMENTAL FORECAST
September 2019 is Yin Water on a Metal Rooster month and begins on the 8 th at 6:19 am
This month the elements are the same as last month only that in August we had Yang Water on a Yang Metal Monkey whereas, this month is Yin Water on a Yin Metal Rooster.
Elementary the elements are still quite cold in nature; therefore, it is a time to let go of what is not right for you. In our body the Metal represents the intestines & lungs, the organs of elimination.
Yin Water is like the rain dew, and people born on a Yin Water day are accommodating, loyal, adaptable, innovative, dedicated, intelligent as they emote that of a wise teacher, secretive as they are the hardest to get know, and sensitive.
The Rooster is practical, observant, honest, and a perfectionist and is known as a Romance Flower or Peach Blossom in Chinese Astrology. Just like the rooster in his natural habitat commands attention and recognition as the day begins puffing his feathers while still in charge of his harem of chicks.
This month brings about romantic encounters or matters of the heart, as some find love and others may find challenges in relationships.
Take extra care if your Day Master sits on a Rabbit as, the Rabbit and the Roosters are foes or a clash in Chinese Astrology, therefore bringing about challenges in relationship.
For those who are born on the day of a Monkey, Rat or Dragon, the Rooster is your Romance Flower, therefore anticipate more romantic encounters and popularity.
They say where there is Yang (happy) there is also Yin (sad).
Health blog from TCM aspects for the month of September is;
From the Chinese medicine point of view, the corresponding organs for the start of spring are the Kidney and feet.
Yin Water on a Metal Rooster. Yin Water is the kidneys and the feet, and the Metal Rooster is the blood, intestines and the lungs.
In the Southern Hemisphere Spring has arrived. The weather starts to get warmer. People can’t wait to take off their winter coats and enjoy more outdoor activities. Since the winter cold energy hasn’t totally gone, during early spring the most common pathogens are still wind and cold. That’s why a lot of sickness including cold/influenza, hay fever etc. are common in this season.
The Lung in Chinese medicine is the organ in charge of the defence energy and the intestine is its sister organ. The Kidney in charge of the original immune power and its channel starts from the bottom of the feet.
In order to keep your health this month we need to look good after both the Lung and Kidney organs. KEEP COVERED is the strategy to protect the Lung defence energy in early spring and have foot spa every now and then to top up the Kidney power. Also ginger tea is good for wind cold syndromes and mint tea is good for sore throat.
