Yang Wood is like a tough oak tree and the Water Rat is like a large mass of water….
In the 5 elements of Chinese metaphysics, the water supports this wood therefore, this month is a strong wood month. Wood represents kindness, creativity, visionary, and stubbornness. so, don’t be surprised if you encounter people these qualities.
The Water Rat is Yang, and is also strong water, bringing with it more water disasters on a global scale with blizzards and colder climate especially in the Northern Hemisphere.
Water is the element which instils fear, and uncertainty, therefore on a financial aspect the stock market can be very unbalanced this month experiencing great falls.
The Rat is quick-witted, charming, funny, and sharp and is known as a Romance Flower, therefore, there can be more romantic interactions this month and emotional issues can arise.

The water supports the wood therefore these woods is supportive but easily overwhelm, as the same while the water is weakened, therefore more water issues can arise. In TCM theory, Gall Bladder channel runs along the side of the head and all the way down the body, and GB in charge of stress and courage. If there’s excessive energy in the Gall Bladder channel, people would suffer from temple headache /migraine, tinnitus /deafness, or emotional stress.
Water represent Kidney and Bladder and Kidney in charge of ear. If the Water energy is weakening, people would easily suffer from lower back issues, hearing problems and Water retention /urination problems.
