Rabbit Month Is Here – And That Was Quick!
March 5th kicks off the Rabbit month and WOW!, didn’t that come around fast?
The energy feels similar to February, but this time we have Yin Metal on the Wood Rabbit, whereas we began the year with Yang Metal on the Wood Tiger. Yin energy tends to run deeper and feel more internal than Yang. Because Metal controls Wood, the elements aren’t in harmony this month, so we may notice things affecting us on a more emotional or personal level.
The Rabbit is also known as the Romance Flower (Peach Blossom), so expect a more heartfelt, emotional tone. Relationships, attraction, and connection may take centre stage, and feelings could run a little deeper than usual.
The year certainly hasn’t started quietly! I mentioned in my yearly talks we may see flight delays and leaders stepping down or being challenged, and we’ve already witnessed plenty of global shake-ups. From high profile court cases, arrests , to resignations and dramatic world events in the Middle East, the pace has been intense and we’re only just getting started.
March continues with big energies and fast movements , very much like the years Fire Horse energy that travels quickly. What has shifted suddenly in your life? If things feel like they’re speeding up, remember to slow yourself down. Even horses stop to graze. Take the reins and guide the changes instead of letting everything run away with you.
Another key feature this month is the absence of the Water element. When Water is missing, we often see themes around water on a global scale from floods, sea incidents, transport disruptions, water restrictions to contamination. On a symbolic level, Water governs secrets, ancestry, history, and the kidneys (where we come from). Hidden matters, whether personal or collective may rise to the surface.
It’s another month of change, so stay calm and keep your vibration high. If the world feels overwhelming, switch off the TV for a while. Meditate, practise yoga, breathe deeply (great for lung health), sing, get outside, and focus on what brings you joy. Stay grounded and ride the energies as best you can.
