January 2021 FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST
January 2021 is Yin Earth on Earth Ox month and begins on the 5th at 11:00 pm
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021 celebrating the beginning of the year in the Georgian Calendar.
In Feng Shui we follow the Solar Calendar or the Farmer’s Almanac therefore, January 2021 is still in the Year of the Rat as it’s the last month in the Solar calendar…
Yin Earth in the nature is represented by nurturing soil or farming soil. Its main purpose is to nurture and help things grow, therefore they are particularly good in guiding and developing people. They are usually very resourceful and productive as well, just like any field or orchard or garden producing fruits and vegetables for nourishment.
The Ox is hardworking, serious, goal-oriented, and steadfast. They are born leaders, being quite dependable and possessing an innate ability to achieve great things
The Ox is also the end of Water Season ion Chinese Astrology (Pig, Rat Ox is Water Season) and being that it is the Year of the Rat, the two animals come together and creating half a water season.
This Earth Ox Sit on Yin Earth which can indicate unstable earth, therefore anticipate, floods, landslides, muddy waters and even water contamination.
The month is about working hard to transit into the next year which is also an Ox year. More about The Metal Ox Year in the next newsletter.
Where there are no oxen, the stalls are clean, but from the strength of the ox comes an abundant harvest- Proverb 14:4

It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Rat as the Ox & the Rat are best friends in Chinese Astrology.
Penalty Animal
If you have a Goat & Dog in your Chinese Astrology Chart, then this month brings about and Earth Penalty.
If earth is an unfavourable element, then avoid extreme sports, climbing mountains and take extra on the roads.
Carry the Charm of the Rat to weaken the effects.
Combinations with the Rat-
The Ox and the Rat are best of friends in Chinese Astrology, therefore, anticipate a smoother month, especially if it on the Day you are born.
The Ox also combines with the Snake and the Rooster forming a Metal Trine combination- what does Metal represent in your chart? Is it money, intelligence, resources, power, or self? (see below)
In your Chinese Astrology chart, who is this harmony with? – Day is your partner, Month is your parents & career, Year is your social group and networks, Hour is children and your ideas.
Health blog from TCM aspects for the month of January
January is Yin Earth on an Earth OX month. They are both related to the spleen, belly, and abdomen. This means we would experience a lot of digestive issues during this month, e.g., bloating sense in the abdomen, nausea, diarrhea, or abdominal pain etc …
Since this month is within the festival season, people would have a lot of parties/gathering which would overload their digestive system. Also, the hotter weather together with some storms/rains, the heat would combine with the dampness and invade the digestive system causing more digestive issues.
From Chinese Medicine point of view, the spleen and stomach look after the health of the whole digestive system. The Spleen love warmth and dryness but hates cold & dampness. In order to keep our digestive health, make sure you eat/drink more warm food, avoid too much refrigerated food & drinks Also avoid too much dairy, sugar and deep fried/greasy food because they would cause a lot of dampness in the digestive system Ginger tea/lemon grass tea are good at aiding digestion. Also, Mandarin/ lemon peel are good at stopping the nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. If symptoms persist, please consult your health practitioners.
