FEBRUARY 2025, FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST
Welcome to the Year of the Wood Snake 2025 & the Month of February.
The Year of the Wood Snake officially begins on February 3, 2025, also known as Li Chun—the Beginning of Spring and the start of the ruling Chinese Zodiac animal year.
The Chinese Lunar New Year was celebrated on January 29, 2025, and always falls on a new moon. (Did you know that Chinese New Year always falls between January 21 and February 21?)
Gong Xi Fa Cai! To you all
(“Congratulations and best wishes for a prosperous New Year!”)
Below are the Flying Stars for the Year.
Can you believe it’s already February?! We are stepping into a fast-moving, life-altering, innovative, and spiritually awakening year. Like the snake shedding its old skin, 2025 invites us to release the past and embrace fresh beginnings.
If you’re eager to learn more about the energy of the Wood Snake Year, I’ve listed several in-person events in Melbourne, Australia below. A webinar recording will be avaialble soon.
Hello February & the Yang Earth Tiger Energy! (Feb 3rd 10:12pm to March 5th 4:09pm)
This month, we welcome the Yang Earth Tiger, bringing a mix of strength, ambition, and unpredictability:
Yang Earth is like a mountain—steady, solid, dependable, and practical.
The Wood Tiger is charming, ambitious, authoritative, and moody, and is also a Travel Star, which can bring restlessness, and movement.
This mountain sits on wood, which can become unstable and may bring incidents related to the earth, tall trees, and even buildings. In the Five Elements cycle, Wood conquers Earth, making events like earthquakes, landslides, and structural collapses more likely.
With the Tiger in the month and the Snake in the year, we see the formation of a half-fire penalty (Tiger, Monkey, Snake). This alignment can trigger:
- Volcanic eruptions & fire-related disasters
- Unsettled earth movements & explosions
- Travel disruptions—flight & train delays or accidents
To navigate this fast paced month energies finding moments of stillness is essential. I encourage you to:
- Spend time in nature—walk barefoot on the earth (if the weather allows).
- Engage in yin activities—such as yoga, tai chi, meditation, and breathwork.
- Avoid rushing travel safely and don’t speed; the destination will always be there.
This is a Yang, fast-paced, travel month, so balancing it with calm, mindful practices will help you stay grounded.
Wishing you a safe and prosperous February!
