APRIL 2025, FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST
Welcome to April, the month of Yang Metal over the Earth Dragon. In Chinese Astrology, the Yang Metal Dragon is known as Fai Kong, symbolizing a commander or leader. Those born with Fai Kong as their Day Pillar are exceptionally determined, resilient, and tenacious, often thriving in adversity. They are strong-willed, strategic, and open-minded, yet their assertiveness and high expectations can make relationships challenging. Additionally, their intense energy may lead to frequent minor accidents.
There is even a saying that people born on Fai Kong days are so powerful they can “kick ghosts away”—their strength and presence are believed to be so formidable that even spirits fear them!
This month carries the powerful Fai Kong energy, bringing challenges that can be overcome through strong willpower and determination. However, with No Nobleman (helpful people) energy present, we must rely on the Day and Hour Pillars to navigate difficulties. It’s also an ideal time for meditation, spiritual reflection, and tuning into our intuition for guidance.
As Fai Kong represents commanders and leaders, we may witness global leaders facing significant challenges or even leadership changes. Notably, Australia’s federal election on May 3rd occurs under the Yang Metal Dragon influence. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, born on a Yang Wood Dragon Day, faces a clash and penalty with his Day Master, indicating potential shifts in leadership.
The Dragon is a Water Storage sign, connected to the Monkey, Rat, and Dragon, which may lead to an increase in flooding disasters in various parts of the world this month.
In terms of Feng Shui, the monthly Star #9 (Fire) brings prosperity and abundance to a home’s central energy, but it also amplifies the effects of the yearly Star #2 (illness). This combination can heighten the risk of explosions, fires, and health issues, particularly affecting the eyes and digestion. To maintain balance, it is best to avoid activating your home’s centre and take proactive steps to boost your immune system with antioxidants, vitamin C, and D.
This month, our intuition will be stronger than usual, so be mindful of your thoughts and keep your vibrations high. To stay balanced, ground yourself by walking barefoot on the earth, gardening, or spending time in nature.
Wishing you all a harmonious and empowering month ahead!
Nobleman Month
Nobleman is the most auspicious energy, bringing helpful people and valuable opportunities into your life.
There is NO Nobleman this month as the Dragon & Dog are the only animals that don’t possess such auspicious qualities; therefore we need to rely on the day and hour to bring about your Nobleman.
Clash Animal
The Dragon & Dog are a Clash in Chinese Astrology. If you have a Dog in your chart then you are in Clash with the month, it can fall in the:
– Day you are born,
-Month (8/9 September to 7/8 November).
– Hour (between 7pm- 9pm) and,
– Years 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018.
It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Rooster as it is friends with the Dragon in Chinese Astrology.
Self-Penalty
If you have a Dragon in your Chinese Astrology Chart, this month brings a Self-Penalty- it is something you that you impose on yourself. This can show up as overindulgence, worry, self-sabotage, negative self-talk, or compulsive behaviours.
Awareness is key! Recognizing these tendencies can help you shift the energy and make more empowered choices.
It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Rooster as it is friends with the Dragon in Chinese Astrology.
Combinations with the Dragon
If you have a Rooster in your chart—especially on your Day Pillar—this Dragon Month could feel a little smoother for you.
Meanwhile, the Dragon, Monkey & Rat form a Water Element Trine—but what does Water mean in your chart? Is it wealth, intelligence, resources, power, or self?

Health Tips for April 2025
As we move into April, we enter the autumn energy of Yang Metal on Earth Dragon. Yang Metal corresponds to the colon, intestines, and navel, emphasizing digestion and gut health. Earth Dragon governs the skin, stomach, and chest, affecting digestion, respiratory health, and skin conditions.
Due to the huge temperature differences between day and night in autumn and the dry climate, the lungs are susceptible to colds and coughs. From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the body’s immunity is closely related to the health of the digestive system. Therefore, following some health tips below can help us stay healthy throughout April.
- Support Digestive Health – Eat warm, nourishing foods like soups and congee to strengthen the digestive system and nourish Lung. Avoid excessive cold or raw foods.
- Protect the Skin – Hydrate well and consume foods rich in healthy oils, such as walnuts and sesame seeds. Steam pears with almond and goji berries are good for skin & Lung hydration
- Breathe Deeply – Practice deep breathing or Qi Gong to strengthen lung function and oxygenate the body.
- Emotional Balance – Metal energy can bring rigidity, so stay flexible and open-minded. Engage in relaxation techniques like Tai Chi or meditation to maintain emotional harmony.
