They say, “better late than never.” 😊 Apologies for the delayed newsletter—it’s been an incredibly busy month!
First, I’d like to extend heartfelt congratulations to my students for completing the Flying Stars Feng Shui course. The course, which was conducted both online and in person over a two-month period, concluded on the 31st of August. I’m immensely proud of all of them and wish them the best as they apply their newfound knowledge to transform their own lives and those of their clients.
I was also honoured to be invited to present at this year’s IFSA Moving to Mastery seminar in Noosa. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share in front of my esteemed colleagues, and I was met with overwhelming support. Plus, I managed to sneak in some much-needed girl time with my best friend!
The energies of September mirror those of last month, though we now see Yin Water over the Metal Rooster, in contrast to August’s Yang Water over the Metal Monkey. The Rooster, being a Romance Flower, pairs with the Dragon of this year, fostering potential new relationships—especially for those born on a Monkey, Rat, or Dragon day or year. So, if you’re single, this month could bring an opportunity to meet someone special. If you’re in a relationship, this is the perfect time for extra date nights!
Yin Water corresponds to the kidneys and represents ancestors, it is also the most secretive of all the elements and may reveal things that could stir emotions. This month, family secrets or hidden information may surface, prompting resolution or reconciliation. As this month also features a Romance Flower, these revelations could impact deeply, even piercing the heart. We might even witness similar situations play out in governments and corporations, as Yang Wood in the year represents leaderships.
Consider September the calm before the storm, as next month’s Yang Wood Dog clashes with the year’s Yang Wood Dragon. This could provoke significant political conflict, potentially dividing a country. With the U.S. elections on the horizon on November 5th (still in the Dog month), will we even see a clear outcome?
In the Southern Hemisphere, its spring, while in the Northern Hemisphere, autumn is setting in. It’s the perfect time for a seasonal cleanse—be it spring or autumn cleaning! Northwest- the Star #8 (earth) sees the Star #4 (wood) which can cause health problems concerning the back, gallstones, and mental health issues (depression) as it resides in the Qian palace.
West- the Star 9 (fire) strengthens the yearly Star #5 (earth) in the west, which can bring about more misfortune and obstacles.
South –representing ill-health & fertility- 6 coins are recommended to weaken the energies in this sector. Take care of your health this month and build up your immune system with antioxidants.
East –represents difficulty, obstacles & destructive energy- 6 metal bells, or a 6-metal piped wind chime is recommended to disperse negative energy.
Centre– The Star #7 (Metal) is associated with a female energy of robbery, theft, betrayal, and scandal, as it teams up with the yearly Star 3# representing argument and fighting. Southeast- the Star 6 (metal) representing law, governments, military, CEOs, and the father.

Health Tips for September 2024
September brings the Yin Water on Metal Rooster energy. Yin Water governs the kidneys, feet, and immune system, while the Metal Rooster influences the small intestines and blood. As metal supports water, kidney energy is particularly strong this month. However, with spring on the way, we’re seeing an uptick in cold and flu cases, and many hay fever sufferers have been seeking urgent relief at our clinic. This signals that our Lung system will face challenges in the warmer months ahead.
In Chinese Medicine, Lung health depends on the strength of both the Spleen and Kidney.
