Well… how have we survived all this Fire energy? 🔥

We’ve had such a strong Fire year, followed by some very strong Fire months, and just when you thought we might finally get a little break… think again!

The Rooster Month begins on 7 September, bringing us Yin Fire sitting on the Metal Rooster.

Yes… more Fire! 🔥

I have to admit; I’m personally a little over all this Fire energy.  I’m sure some of you are feeling the same!

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed so many Fire and Metal themes showing up around me, with family, clients and in everyday life. Fire can bring intensity, emotions and inflammation, while Metal is connected with the lungs, skin and our ability to let go.

But Fire isn’t only about challenges. It’s also about love, happiness, celebration and joy. I’ve seen proposals, weddings, pregnancies, babies being born and so many beautiful reasons to celebrate. ❤️

It’s a lovely reminder that where there is Yin, there will always be Yang. Even when things feel challenging, something wonderful can be happening at the same time.

And speaking of wonderful things… let’s talk about LOVE! ❤️

The Rooster is known as a Romance Flower or Peach Blossom, and because the Horse in our annual chart is also a Romance Flower, we have a little double dose of love happening this month.

If you were born in the Year or Day of the Monkey, Rat or Dragon, the Rooster is your Romance Flower or Peach Blossom.

So, whether you’re looking for romance or simply wanting to bring more love and kindness into your life, this is a beautiful month to open your heart a little more.

Now we have another “double up” happening with our Flying Stars.

The monthly Flying Stars duplicate the yearly stars, creating a Fu Yin configuration, amplifying the energies throughout the home.

The sectors I would be paying more attention to are the South, Southwest, West and Northwest, while the Southeast, Centre and East are more supportive and prosperous.

Make the most of those prosperous areas by spending time there and try not to disturb the challenging sectors unnecessarily.

As I always say… where there is Yin, there is Yang.

Yin Fire reminds me of a candle flame. 🕯️ It may be small, but it can light up the darkest room.

This can bring things into the light — secrets being revealed, hidden situations becoming visible and people in positions of power coming under greater scrutiny.

Yin Fire can also bring themes of explosive energy, nuclear developments, volcanic activity, airline disruptions and sudden events, so September certainly doesn’t look boring!

The month begins with Yang Wood Monkey, which can represent leadership, media and people in positions of power. With Wood not particularly strengthened this month, we could see some changes or shifts involving those in authority and in the media.

So what can we do with all this Fire?

Laugh more. 😂
Find something to be grateful for.
Spend time with people you love.
Celebrate the little things.
And most importantly — be kind. ❤️

We may not be able to turn down the Fire this month, but we can choose how we work with it.

Let’s use it for warmth, love, laughter, creativity and connection.

Wishing you all a beautiful September filled with love, happiness and lots of beautiful moments.

And remember… spread the love! ❤️

Flying Stars September 2026

A Month of Amplified Energies

This month brings a Fu Yin configuration, where the monthly Flying Stars double up with their yearly stars. This creates an amplification of the existing energies, making the influence of each sector more pronounced.

Because the energies are intensified, it is especially important to be mindful of the sectors carrying more challenging stars.

Sectors Requiring Extra Attention – South • Northwest • West • Southwest

More Prosperous Sectors – Southeast • Centre

Let’s take a closer look at the energies moving through each sector this month.

Northeast — Star #4 Wood

The monthly Star #4 can stimulate themes of romance, relationships, affairs and scandal. On a broader level, the Wood energy may also be associated with increased wind activity, including stronger storms, thunderstorms and tornado activity in the Northeast of countries or regions.

East — Star #8 Earth

The monthly Star #8 enters the East palace. This energy can indicate mishaps or accidents, with particular attention advised around children and younger members of the family.

Keep this area safe, organised and free from unnecessary hazards.

West — Star #3 Wood

The Star #3 is associated with arguments, disputes, slander, conflict and legal matters. Its influence can also involve government officials, authority figures, CEOs or those in positions of power.

Keep the West sector quiet and undisturbed wherever possible to help minimise unnecessary conflict.

Centre — Star #1 Water

The auspicious Star #1 brings opportunities for fame, prosperity, recognition and advancement.

However, Water energy can also be associated with flooding and excessive water, so its influence may manifest very differently depending on the surrounding environment.

Southeast — Star #9 Fire

The Star #9 Fire brings a powerful influence of prosperity, abundance, recognition and future opportunities.

The Southeast is one of the more favourable sectors this month, making it a wonderful area to keep active, bright, clean and welcoming.

South — Star #5 Earth

The Star #5 Earth is considered one of the most challenging of the Flying Stars. Keep this sector quiet, clean and undisturbed throughout the month.

Avoid renovations, digging or unnecessary movement of the earth in this area.

A 6-metal-pipe wind chime or 6-metal-pipe bells can be placed in this sector as a traditional Feng Shui remedy.

Southwest — Star #7 Metal

The Star #7 can bring themes of conflict, jealousy, betrayal, arguments and loss or theft.

To help moderate this energy, place fresh water in a glass vase with three stalks of bamboo, or use a water-growing plant such as Pothos, Chinese Evergreen or English Ivy.

North — Star #6 Metal

The monthly Star #6 brings themes connected with authority, legal matters and potential disputes. On a personal level, it can also correspond with headaches and respiratory or lung-related concerns.

A traditional remedy is to place fresh water in a glass vase with three stalks of bamboo.

Northwest — Star #2 Earth

The Star #2 is traditionally associated with ill health and depleted energy. Take extra care of your wellbeing this month and support your immune system with adequate rest, nourishment and self-care.

Keep this sector quiet, clean and free from clutter. You may also place 6 metal coins or metal artwork in the Northwest as a traditional remedy.

🌏 Global Outlook

On a global scale, countries and regions associated with the South, Northwest, West and Southwest may experience greater challenges or disruptions this month.

Within your own home or business, pay particular attention if these energies fall into important areas such as your bedroom, front entrance or kitchen.

Where possible, avoid digging, renovations or disturbing the earth in the more challenging sectors this month, as traditionally this can activate the difficult energies and potentially contribute to financial loss, conflict or misfortune.

A Final Reminder

The Monthly Flying Stars are a general guide only.

Every home and business has its own unique Feng Shui horoscope, determined by factors including the year it was built, the direction it faces and its surrounding environment.

  Health Tips for September 2026

September brings Yin Fire over Metal Rooster, while here in the Southern Hemisphere, spring is arriving. 🌿

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, Fire relates to the Heart and Shen (mind), while Metal relates to the Lungs and Large Intestine. With Fire dominating Metal, it’s a good time to support both our emotional wellbeing and respiratory health.

🌿 Spring & Seasonal Changes

Spring can bring warmer days, but also sudden changes in temperature and strong winds. In TCM, spring is described as “乍暖还寒” — warm one moment and cold the next.

With hay fever, allergies and seasonal illnesses becoming more common, don’t put away those warm layers just yet. Protect yourself from wind and sudden temperature changes.

🌱 Support Your Body

• Include foods such as ginger, mint and lemon.
• Prioritise good-quality sleep.
• Keep moving with regular, moderate exercise.
• If you suffer from hay fever, minimise pollen exposure where possible.

Spring is also a wonderful season for growth, movement and renewal. Get outdoors, enjoy some sunshine and allow your Qi to move freely. A little fresh air, movement and time in nature can do wonders for our mood and overall wellbeing. ☀️🌱
