JANUARY 2022, FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST
January begins on the 5th at 11:06 pm and ends on February 4th at 10: 44 am.
Welcome to the Yin Water Ox month. As the Chinese Calendar is based on the Solar calendar or Farmers calendar we are in the last phase of the Water Tiger Year of 2022.
We officially welcome in The Water Rabbit Year 2023 on the 4th of February, also known as the “Beginning of Spring”.
Yin Water by nature is represented by rain, clouds, mist, and drew drops.
People born on the day of Yin Water appear to be soft and vulnerable on the outside, but they are wise and resilient on the inside. They are more reserved and are not ones to show their true feelings or self completely.
As the hardest and strongest working animal of the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs, the Ox in a symbol of determination, diligence, dependability, and strength.
We are still in a strong water month as Yin Water is like a rain cloud and the Earth Ox is like muddy land. In Melbourne, Australia we are having a late start to our summer season as the weather temperature is lower than expected for the season. Likewise, Canada, parts of the USA, and Europe are experiencing a colder winter season than normal.
Yin Water people are very good multi-taskers, and the Ox being determined and not afraid to work hard at preparing the fields, I would advise this month to do just that.
Find the time to tackle a few tasks at a time by working hard on getting things done around the house & office, by spring cleaning and decluttering, complete any unfinished projects, before the Lunar New Year which falls on the 22nd of January 2023.
We aim to enter the Year of the Rabbit which officially begins on the 4th of February 2023, with a hop in our step, taking on new adventures, challenges, and successes with a clean and clear slate to welcome in a prosperous 2023 year.

Nobleman Month-
Nobleman is described as ‘helpful people’. This month brings a Nobleman to people born
- Day of Yang Metal, Yang Wood, & Yang Earth.
- Years ending in 0, 4, & 8.
Clash Animal
The Ox & Goat are a Clash in Chinese Astrology. If you have a Goat in your chart then you are in Clash with the month, it can fall in the:
– Day you are born,
-Month (July 5/ 6 to 6/7 August)
– Hour (between 1pm- 3pm) and,
– Years (1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015).
It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Rat as it is friends with the Ox in Chinese Astrology.
If you have Yin Fire, in your Chinese Astrology Chart, you are in Clash with the Yin Water of the Month. It is more evident if you are born on the Day of Yin Fire.
Depending on if Yin Water is favourable or not, a Clash can be positive as it can activate whatever the aspect of the element is (you can book in for a Chinese Astrology reading to find out more).
Penalty Animal
An Earth Penalty can instigate extreme worry, hidden dangers, accidents, diseases, misfortune, sporting accidents especially those played on the earth, growths, and hidden cancer.
If you have a Goat & Dog in your Chinese Astrology Chart, then this month the Ox brings about and Earth Penalty.
If Earth is an unfavourable element, then avoid extreme sports, and take extra on the roads.
Carry the Charm of the Rat to keep the Ox peaceful.
Combinations with the Ox –
The Ox & Rat are best of friends in Chinese Astrology, therefore, anticipate a smoother month, especially if it’s on the Day you are born.
The Ox combines with the Snake and the Rooster forming a Metal Element Trine combination- what does Metal represent in your chart? Is it money, intelligence, resources, power, or self?
(A Chinese Astrology reading can give you more information. See below for services)
