March 2020 is Yin Earth on Wood Rabbit month and begins on the 5 th at 10:59 am
I can’t believe we are already into the month of March, and the year is travelling very fast for me anyway.
The year has also bought around extreme fear especially around the coronavirus epidemic. That is the theme of the Yearly Elements with Yang Metal on Water Rat – the Water elements bring on the emotion of fear and is related to the immune system in Chinese medicine and the Metal is the lungs and breathing organs and those are the exact organs and systems that are affected by the coronavirus.

The Yin Earth is like a garden, easy going, flexible, adaptable, accommodating, and it also represents mother nature.
The Wood Rabbit is family-oriented, sincere, compassionate, and popular.
This month the Wood Rabbit brings about a Romance Flower or Peach blossom therefore, more romantic encounters.
But, don’t let this Rabbit fool you as the Rat in the year and the Rabbit in the month bring about a Two- Penalty in Chinese Astrology therefore creating disloyalty, scandal, ungratefulness ,betrayal, harsh words, backstabbing, worry and to the extreme sexual affairs and diseases.
If your Day Master sits on a Water Rat, take extra caution as this energy can affect your relationship, or can bring in a relationship with disloyalty, EG. You find out that this new relationship you began isn’t what it is as they are still married and cheating on their partner that you were not aware of ☹.
Take extra care if your Day Master sits on a Rooster as the Rooster & the Rabbit are foes or a clash in Chinese Astrology, therefore bringing about challenges and changes in relationships.
As the Rat, Rabbit and Rooster are all Romance Flowers they will cut deep on an emotional level and will affect matters of the heart.

Health Blog for the Month of March;
The month of March brings about Yin Earth on a wood Rabbit.
The elements are in conflict therefore, the earth elements are weak this month.
Yin Earth represents the spleen and belly abdomen while the Wood Rabbit is in charge of the liver and the fingers.
In Chinese medicine, the Earth element is not only the source of nutrition, but also the source of immunity for the human body. If the Earth is weak, both the digestive system and the immune system would suffer. As we are all aware, the coronavirus is affecting the whole world and is causing a lot of distress in our community. In order to keep healthy this month, we need to take extra care of our “Earth”. The “Earth” always prefer warm and soft foods; thus, we need to avoid eating too much cold and raw food/drink even in hot days. Also, the “Earth” prefer pungent/aromatic flavour to wake up the energy, hence we could introduce more ginger, garlic, pepper, fennel etc. in our diet to assist with the digestive system.
The Wood element in Chinese medicine, represents the Liver organ and in charge of stress and anger. In the 5-element relationship, Wood controls the Earth and further weaken its energy. During this month, we need to control our stress/anger/frustration level, avoid too much alcohol intake, and keep a healthy work/life balance. Regular exercise and good rest also play important roles in keeping the “Wood” health.

What do the Earth & Wood Element mean for you this month?
If you are YIN or YANG-
WOOD- the earth element will bring you that extra income and money and the wood can bring about status and promotion. If Earth & Wood are an unfavourable element, take extra care as there may be an unexpected legal matter that can arise which you will have to foot the bill for, e.g., parking fine.
FIRE– the earth can bring about exciting new adventures and you have what it takes to succeed. The wood will bring about new ideas, resources, and a chance to study something new. If Earth & Wood are unfavourable, be mindful of what you say and do as your thoughts and ideas are challenged.
EARTH– anticipate a busy social lifestyle with family and friends and the wood can bring about pressure or an unexpected promotion. If Earth & Wood are unfavourable- there may be pressure placed upon you by parent and family as they can be a burden.
METAL– the earth can bring about new ideas, study, learning and the wood will bring about money. If Earth & Wood are unfavourable, your ideas and thoughts can bring about money loss.
WATER– the earth can bring about status & a promotion as the wood brings about recognition and talents. If Earth & Wood are unfavourable elements, take care of what you say or do, as there can be legal consequences.
