DECEMBER 2022, FENG SHUI FLYING STARS & CHINESE ASTROLOGY FORECAST
December begins on the 7th @ 11:48 am and ends on the 5th of January at 11:06 pm.
Welcome to the Yang Water on Water Rat month.
This month is a strong water month, as Yang Water represents and ocean or a large mass of water.
The Rat is the strongest and coldest water element; therefore, we may see a very cold and wet December month on a global scale. In the south of Australia, we have had a slow start to our summer season, with areas still affected by flooding and climatically colder, especially in the NSW and Victoria, Australia.
The Star 1 flies into the central palace representing the water element. As it teams up with the yearly Star 5 (the most malevolent of the stars) we may see countries experiencing flash floods, water disasters, blizzards, typhoons, hurricanes, land slide, avalanches, and tsunamis.
In November, the Pig month which is also a water month there has been heavy rainfall in Chad, in Northern Central Africa, Typhoon Nalgae in Guangzhou, China, floodings in southern Italian island of Ischia, a blizzard hitting the Russian city of Magadan, and NSW in Australia has faced their worst floods in history, just to mention a few.
The month also brings in a Romance Flower or Peach blossom for those born in the years or days of a Pig, Rabbit, and Goat. If you are single anticipate attracting in a relationship or a fling. If you are married, expect more romantic evenings or date days.
The water element is the sign of wisdom, courage, strength, intuition, and can also instigate fear, stagnation, and is the most secretive of all the elements. This month find the time to expand your wisdom and intuition and the strength and courage to move forwards in any fearful situation.
It’s the season to be Jolly. Can you believe Christmas is only 18 days away. It’s that time of the year where the greatest gift of giving, and sharing comes in small packages. The gift of kindness, caring, health, and love is the greatest gift of all.
For all that celebrate this festive season, I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2023.
Note: We have another month till the Year of the Tiger comes to an end. The Year of the Rabbit begins on the 4th of February 2023.
Nobleman Month-
Nobleman is described as ‘helpful people’. This month brings a Nobleman to people born
- Day of Yin Wood, Yin Earth.
- Years ending in 5 & 9.
Romance Flower or Peach Blossom –
Romance Flower indicates a relationship, you may attract extra attention and standing out this month.
If you are born in the Year or Day of a Pig, Rabbit, or Goat, the Rat is your Romance Flower or Peach Blossom.
Pig Years include 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019.
Rabbit Years include 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011.
Goat Years include 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015.
Clash Animal
The Rat & Horse are a Clash in Chinese Astrology. If you have a Horse in your chart then you are in Clash with the month, it can fall in the:
– Day you are born,
-Month (June 5/ 6 to 5/6 July)
– Hour (between 11am- 1pm) and,
– Years (1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014).
It is recommended that you take extra care this month and carry the charm of a Ox as it is friends with the Rat in Chinese Astrology.
If you have Yang Fire, in your Chinese Astrology Chart, you are in Clash with the Yang Water of the Month. It is more evident if you are born on the Day of Yang Fire.
Depending on if Yang Water is favourable or not, a Clash can be positive as it can activate whatever the aspect of the element is (you can book in for a Chinese Astrology reading to find out more).
Two- Penalty-
Also known as Ungrateful Punishment is seen as a betrayal where the people or a situation that you most relied on backfires and gives you trouble instead.
If you have a Rabbit in the day you are born or the Year you are born, then the Rabbit is the ungrateful punishment.
Rabbit years are; 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011.
Combinations with the Rat –
The Rat & Ox are best of friends in Chinese Astrology, therefore, anticipate a smoother month, especially if it’s on the Day you are born.
The Rat combines with the Monkey and the Dragon forming a Water Element Trine combination- what does Water represent in your chart? Is it money, intelligence, resources, power, or self?

Health blog for the Month of December 2022
December is Yang Water on Water Rat. Yang Water is the bladder and the legs while Water Rat is the ears, kidney, and the immune system. It’s a huge water month in December.
As we are all aware we have exceptionally more rain this year and the nature is full of dampness. People who live in such environment would absorb the dampness affecting their organ function. Common “Dampness” symptoms include fatigue, heaviness in the body, appetite loss, loose bowel etc.
In order to keep our health this month, avoiding “Dampness” into our system is essential. In Chinese Medicine, the water metabolism mainly governed by the Spleen and Kidney/Bladder system. The Spleen is in charge of transforming & transporting the dampness whilst the Kidneys/Bladder are in charge of the discharging of dampness. We could prevent “Dampness” syndromes by simply strengthening our Spleen and Kidneys system. Some health tips are listed below:
- Avoid too much sweet and dairy products because they would weaken the Spleen and cause the dampness accumulation.
- Mandarin or lemon/ lime skin could strengthen the Spleen function and resolve the dampness from the digestive system. We could put some lemon or mandarin skin peels in the tea/ water and drink it every day. Also pearl barley is good at promoting urination and drain the dampness, we could cook it as tea too.
- Regular exercises could activate the Spleen and Kidney functions, promote sweating, and expel the dampness through perspiration.
